Chef Eric Rachal Sr - Creole Cajun Bistro

Chef Eric Rachal Sr.

Eric was born to his Cajun father Henry D. Rachal, Sr. from Cloutierville, Louisiana, and his Creole mother Alethia Ann Charles from New Orleans, Louisiana. Eric inherited his cooking talents from his grandmother Marcell F. Jacques, also known as “Big Red,” a chef and caterer from the crescent city New Orleans, Louisiana. Eric was raised in the kitchen, working side-by-side with his grandmother daily. Over the years, he mastered the authentic tastes of many Creole Cajun dishes and perfected them.

Eric’s love for cooking has lead him to develop over 100 cooking videos on the popular video-sharing website, YouTube™, with over a million domestic and international views and thousands of followers seeking authentic recipes and guidance in southern cooking. He offers videos that include homemade sausages, which will be found at Creole Cajun Bistro, to all-grain homebrewed beers which will be used in our special beer batter.
